My laptop will no longer turn on or completely off either.
One day the screen suddenly turned black, I thought it went to sleep but the screen remained black. The power button remained lit as if the computer was on. I tried restarting it, for which I had to hold down the power button for a long time (12-20 seconds) and after that it never turned on again.
This similar thread recommended resetting the mainboard but I am not sure how to proceed beyond step 4 in that reset, when I can’t turn my laptop completely off either - such that the side LEDs stop flashing red whenever I open up the laptop.
I am using Windows 11 Home on the 11th Gen Framework laptop.
