Screen won't turn on

I have a 13th gen laptop with Windows 11, and the screen won’t turn on when I power the computer on. The lights for the keyboard all come on, the screen just stays black. I had a similar problem a couple of months ago, and resetting the mainboard seemed to fix it then, but I didn’t do anything to the computer and it started not working again. Resetting the mainboard no longer seems to fix this, so I’m at a loss for what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It’d be nice to have some transparency on this. Having the same problem and don’t know how to resolve. The only difference would be that I have a Framework 16.

Have you been in contact with support?

If an external video is being displayed the next line might be to check the display cables at BOTH ends and reseat them. This is not common but the connectors can work their way loose sometimes and reseating them may restore the display. Otherwise the display is a fairly easy part to replace if it has gone bad and this is the issue. Support will be the best avenue to help though.

I have not yet contacted support, but that will be my next step. I’ve tried multiple monitors and cables that work with my tower, but nothing works.
