We’re experiencing a harsh noise coming from our heatsink fan, and cleaning it didn’t resolve the issue. I checked the Marketplace but could only find the full heatsink kit or the FW12 fan. I’d prefer to buy just the FW13 fan and replace it myself. Does anyone know how to source one? I wanted to check here first to see if I missed it on the store page before reaching out to support.
Which board?
The one with the Intel Core i5-1135G7 in it.

I ended up ordering the one from AliExpress because the Newegg option was just too expensive by comparison.
That said, fingers crossed it’s an identical fan. The fan on the heatsink has completely given up and is making even worse noises than before. At this point, I just want to get this job finished lol.
I also contacted Framework about a replacement mainboard, but they aren’t offering repairs or exchange programs. So for now, I’m going to replace the fan and call it a day. Then in 5–6 months, I’ll probably have my client move to a 12th Gen Intel board with DDR5 if we can find some SODIMMs for a decent price.
