I’m not sure if the fan-curve is something that is exposed by the EC tool that is floating around for Frameworks (for this chipset). Re-pasting is a good first step alongside ensuring that the fan is clean and clear.
If re-pasting with a quality paste or one of the genuine PTM pads does not adjust things into your favor, I’d reach out to support to see if something can be done about the fan curve for your unit or if it necessitates a replacement (Bouncing off your note of another framework exhibiting different behavior).
Another decent “test” Might be to check out the gamework thread, and see if you’re getting similar FPS from the same games expressed there from the same model. It might be a case where this particular game is just unexpectedly hard on the hardware available.
