No japanese input cover kit?

The lack of a japanese input keyboard is disappointing.
They have a number of features besides a different printed key layout.
For one, the ability to press a dedicated button to change input modes (e.g. from hiragana to katakana to alphabetical) is pretty great.

Does this mean that the input cover from an English keyboard cannot be used with a Japanese keyboard? Just curious.

Japanese input cover kit is now in the final stages of review; suggest reviewing and providing feedback sooner than later:

@noa_shiruba You can use a physical English keyboard to type Japanese, you just won’t have keys with dedicated labels for things like hankaku, henkan, or kana toggle. You should be able to change hotkeys as you’d like though for these from defaults like Alt+Shift to whatever.
