Laptops ship from Taïwan but I believe some individual parts (not purchased as part of a laptop) ship from other warehouses around the world. So it may be that currently there’s a shortage of US keyboards at the factory, but it’s in stock at the warehouse that ships parts to your location…

Keyboards are out of stock again 
So frustrating… We are slowly trying to migrate our fleet to Framework. But stuff like this forces us to keep buying new laptops from the old vendors.
I’d be even satisfied with an option if I could place orders with delayed shipment, just to get it in. Rather than keep randomly refreshing the page to see if it’s in stock.
