Any speculation on if the framework 16 laptop would be able to passthrough the gpu device to a virtual machine ?

You will be able to do PCIe passthrough like other laptops and desktops.

That’s good to know. I’ve never tried on a laptop before. I have had something work on a server where I was playing around. I wouldn’t call my self an expert just someone who can follow a guide, so thank you for the reply!

Nope, pretty much all publicly available information is on the string of blog posts they have.
In the LTT review they talk specifically about the GPU direct output that is on the back of it. This probably means that passthrough IS possible.
