If you have a 250 GB expansion card can you please post some speed benchmarks? I understand the port is USB4 but I wanna see some real world read / write benchmarks for the expansion card storage.
No benchmarks, an opinion only.
I have Ubuntu 21.04 on a 250 GB expansion card and for my light usage, it is very fast. No noticeable lag.

This is what I am currently getting on a wiped 250GB expansion card.
I was using it for Manjaro and just like @Edward_Gray said, I didn’t have any issues using it as a secondary drive.
It’s not as fast as the 1TB expansion card but it’s good enough.
