Poll: Problems with Crucial DDR5 RAM 96GB Kit (2x48GB) 5600MHz SODIMM, CL46 – CT2K48G56C46S5EUR?

I am getting intermittent freezes (no BSD) where only a hard reboot helps. No dumps are saved that I could investigate with WhoCrashed.

I am using the following setup:

  • Crucial DDR5 RAM 96GB Kit (2x48GB) 5600MHz SODIMM, CL46 – CT2K48G56C46S5EUR
  • Windows 11
  • Laptop 13 AI 300 Series

Support thinks it is the RAM: “AMD Ryzen AI platform is highly sensitive to memory characteristics such as power management timing, SPD profiles, and firmware configuration. Even if a module meets DDR5-5600 specifications and passes memory tests, unvalidated kits may still cause instability, freezing, or resume/wake issues due to differences in how the system firmware and memory controller interact.”

I see quite a few people here are using this RAM.

If you’re using this RAM, it would be great to to hear whether everything is fine for you or you’re also having problems.

Thanks in advance.
