Is it possible to add a VGA or DVI style threaded insert to a USB-C expansion card to be able to attach an external expansion “pack” to the side or bottom of the laptop?

at that point, how about having an expansion card that only works in a single slot (i.e. back left), makes a bar or slice across the bottom back of the laptop, and uses longer screws in place of the existing chasis screws for a solid connection.
looks like there are 3 screws that could be leveraged. also maybe have to rip off the rubber foot along the back.
If this is being imagined as a more temporary docking solution, where you put the laptop down into a docking station, many manufacturers have completely moved away from that, in favour of simple thunderbolt docks with a cable.
