When accessing Power Display via Power Toys, the built in FW display (I have a gen 1 screen) gives this error, as shown in the screenshot below.
I doubt submitting a ticket would yield a fix, since I’m on the latest drivers and default settings. Is this something FW can update, so users can gain enhanced control(s)?
Other displays I have do not show this message (in fact, across multiple systems, I’ve only seen it on FW16 display, and the advanced controls and widgets are very powerful and helpful. TIA.
For anyone who has not looked into it, this is via Power Display, a new windows applet inside of PowerToys. It’s incredibly useful for multi-monitor configurations, and sharing displays across systems.
