Hello, I have an interesting problem with my Framework 13 AMD 7840. It was connected to a dock, running two displays and peripheries when I noticed that the battery was getting lower. I checked with two other chargers but the laptop wont charge(or run on just USB power with battery disconnected), despite the ports working fully otherwise.
I contacted support and they suggested trying a mainboard reset which didn’t work as the mainboard had no power, after which they said I would need a new mainboard.
As the current mainboard still works perfectly fine except the USB power delivery I was wondering if anyone has experience with powering the mainboard through the battery port so I can use it for a server or something similar. On a related note, does anyone have an idea on how I could recharge the battery manually so it doesn’t sit at 0% for a while.
