While a valid one, I’d argue that that is a fairly niche use-case.
I think that is just by virtue of Framework’s mission. Given the form factor, it’s quite clear that the Framework Laptop is not enthusiast-grade wrt performance.
The 4800U (while hard to find) is a beastly chip and I’m glad it will work for you. But again, looking at the target audience and their use-cases, I’d argue that the Tiger Lake platform is at least on par, if not better (despite having half the core/thread count):
The only reason I’d like to see an AMD mainboard variant is for the potential battery savings.
