Reset Framework Laptop W/ Fedora Locked Out

Somehow the admin password I set isn’t working and now I’m locked out of my new Framework Laptop with Fedora installed. There’s nothing on there so I don’t mind just wiping it but I’m not sure how to do that when I can’t even log in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’d recommend using a live linux environment and chroot-ing into your Fedora install. You can then reset passwords that way.

Use a Linux installation media (you can use the same one that you originally installed Fedora with). Plug it into your laptop, turn it on and repeatedly press F12 (or fn+F12) until you enter a menu where you can choose which device to boot from. Select the installation media and you can now reinstall Fedora using the same steps you originally used to install it.

I ended up doing as Marro64 suggested and booted into the Fedora Media Installer I loaded onto a USB and I was able to partition the drive from there. My first mistake was messing around in the settings before doing the initial reboot you’re supposed to do upon first install.
