[RESPONDED] 11th gen 13in Linux CPU core maxed at 100%

Hello,

I am using an encrypted fedora 38 install on the modular USBC removable framework drive inside the 11th gen 13in framework laptop.

When I login to gnome I have about 30 sec to start up a program before the computer starts to shutter and slow down.

htop indicates that one of my CPU cores is maxed out at 100% all the time from some kworker process.

I am currently on Fedora 38 but this issue was also occurring with Debian 12.

I also have a windows 11 install on the M.2 but there doesn’t seem to be any issues with Windows.

Any assistance to resolve this issue would be very appreciated.

Hi, is this reproduceable with vanilla fedora 38 live on usb?
