Hardware Canucks has done a full RTX 50 series comparison, and it makes for some interesting watching:

TLDR - @Framework, I get that there were some limitations as to why you went with the 5070, but that 8GB VRAM means it absolutely sucks. You should have made the 5070 Ti work (larger bay), as most reviewers seem to put this at the sweet spot.

Unfortunately, I’ll most likely be cancelling my pre-order of the upgrade, maybe explore the Oculink route. @Framework I really want you guys to succeed, but I’d encourage others not to buy this.

I don’t see the Framework 16 in that video. I would be more interested in seeing the difference between the 7700s and the new 5070 on just the Framework 16.

To clarify, the FW16 isn’t in this video and as far as I know they haven’t given reviewers their new model yet. However, this is still a good demonstration of the 5070s lack of performance.
