About a week ago, my screen started going black while I was using it. Sometimes only an hour after using it. Other times a couple of hours. I’ve noticed that when I’m watching Netflix or other media, the screen goes black but the audio stays on. In fact, it appears that the show is still going on in the background. I try to move my finger across the touchpad / trackpad but it doesn’t do any good. I also try pushing the space bar. Since I can’t see the screen, I do a hard shutdown (holding down the power button for 10 seconds.) When I reboot, the computer seems to work, but sometimes does it again an hour or two later. Again, the audio always works and whatever is in the background appears to be playing.
I’m not sure if this is an update issue or a hardware issue.
