Screws stripped during Framework Laptop Mainboard Replacement

Hey, was replacing my mainboard (Intel i5 1240P with AMD Ryzen 7840U), and had an issue where the screws got stripped, or rather the screw receptacle in the bottom cover kit got removed. Please see below photos for details:

So now the screw receptacles are attached to the removed screws as shown below:

What are the easiest/cheapest methods to fix this issue? I want all my screws to be added for the new mainboard. Is there a way to fix this without purchasing a new bottom cover kit?

Please let me know your thoughts!

The name for that receptacle is “threaded insert”, and that’s also happened to me (and other people on this forum). Personally I went with leaving the 1 screw out for a while but I’ve got a new bottom cover now.

The harder alternative would be to fill the stripped screw hole with epoxy, drill it out for the correct size and retap the threads.

Not all the screws are critical to hold the mainboard in place. If you had to leave one out it should be perfectly fine.
