Since upgrading ram windows lagging bad

I have a 12th Gen Intel 13" Framework laptop with one 32 GB slot RAM, and recently bought another and now I have 64 GB 2 slots RAM.

After installing the second card my laptop couldn’t connect to my external screen so I updated these drivers and BIOS: Framework Laptop BIOS and Driver Releases (12th Gen Intel® Core™)
and it worked…

But the thing is my laptop started to lag really bad.
Windows 11 OS itself and all the apps in it.

I thought that maybe it had something to do with page faults I read about but I have done a lot to reduce it to the minimum - turns out it hasn’t it.

Is it common? how do I solve it?
Thanks

The important thing here is whether or not the 2 sticks of the ram are the same model> DO they have the same timings, etc.? If they do not this could be the issue. When you updated your bios it made the mainboard do a memory (RAM) test again which goes overs things like timings. If the two chips have different limitations here this could lead to all kinds of issues.

This is where I would start with this.
