[SOLVED] Does the Chromebook edition have a spare RAM slot?

I’m about to order a Framwork Chromebook, and I want to increase the memory, but I’m not sure what’s already installed. Does it have 1x8gb, and a spare slot, or 2x4, so I’d need to replace both?

I’m also assuming the DD4-3200 cards available on the marketplace are compatible - hopefully that’s the case!

I would suggest contact support and asking them. Usually it will list in the configuration whether it is 1 or 2 sticks of RAM. But still best to be sure, and contact support.

But the Framework laptop has 2 RAM slots.

Ah, I see it now - under configuration, it reads, “Memory: 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-3200”
