[SOLVED] Is it possible to pick a matte screen instead of the glossy one in a D.I.Y. order?

Hi framework community!

Like the title says, I’ve recently pre-ordered a Framework 13 inch d.i.y. model. I’d like it to have a matte screen instead of a glossy one, and I didn’t find an option in the configuration to pick between them. Looking in the FAQ I’ve learned that the laptop comes partially assembled, and I assume that’s why picking the screen isn’t an option?

Is there a way I could ask for a matte screen instead of a glossy one, or will I just need to order a matte screen along with the laptop and then swap them out?

Any info you can provide is appreciated, thanks in advance!

13th gen and AMD 7040 series come with a matte screen already. 12th gen and older were glossy.

I believe @Morpheus636 meant to write the glossy screen came with the 12th gen and older.
