[SOLVED] The Framework support situation is getting ridiculous

I submit a support request about the invoice with Taiwan business id after I bought a fw13, and I received a response about the escalated of my ticket. That’s 07/02.

Then I forgot about it, thinking this will be resolved shortly.
And it didn’t.
After I remember about this because of the preparation of tax, I submit another support request in 10/08, and get a standard bot reply, and nothing more.

At this point, I don’t even know can the invoice be changed after all this time, and it will be some financial loss if it can’t.

This is not the first time I have to deal with framework support about a simple business id in invoice. Half a year ago the order of my fw16 took a month and half, and a forum mod report this for me internally, twice, to get it done. The whole framework concept is suited for business purchase in my opinion, but the invoice business id situation is putting me in a spot that I cannot recommend the framework laptop for smell business, because I have doubts about whether or not can their accounting department tolerate this kind of problem.

Or maybe put the business id input in the checkout, that will be helpful too.

It is unclear what a “Business ID” is or how it makes a difference for an accounting department with the company taxes.

Most accounting practices allow hand notation on documentation with signatory initials or in strict cases an affidavit citing the correction. The forum does not get the eyes of the support team regularly. This is an issue only someone inside Framework can address.

In Taiwan, every company when register will be granted a eight-digits Business ID represent the company. For company purchase, this ID will need to be put in the invoice for tax write off. So yeah, this will affect the company tax filing.

So this issue got resolved 5 hours ago, thank’s for the framework teams.
They say the business id input idea will be transfer to dev team in the email they respond the support ticket with, so that’s good. I’m looking forward to that.
