I love the framework so far but only getting sound from one speaker (right). I have the framework 13 DIY edition running the officially supported Ubuntu distro.
Anyone have any tips for troubleshooting it before I open it up and start poking cables?

I could try other Linux distros or maybe windows but that seems a last resort just for the sake of debugging.
Any way to ask Ubuntu if the device is visible for example?
Look into sound setting. The stereo Right/Left slider might be at one side and not in the center. I don’t know why. I only know that this happened to me sometimes on another machine on some distro and that it annoyingly did reset itself into that dumb one-sided setting sometimes.
