I’ve tried adding this to my /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf
:
options snd-hda-intel index=1,0 model=auto,dell-headset-multi
Rebooted and but the builtin microphone is still used. I’ve tried messing around in pulsemixer switching sources but to no luck. But tbh, I don’t know much about the sound system in Linux. All sound related packages ive installed since installing debian is pipewire, pamixer, pulsemixer, alsa-utils and some bluetooth related packages.
I am using a JBL headset, Quantum 100.
