Having a problem with running Spotify on Windows 11 on my 395 64gb desktop. Any time I have it open the display shows up and then goes black every 1-2 seconds. I have the desktop connected to my 240hz monitor (Amazon.com: Alienware 34 240Hz QD-OLED Curved Gaming Monitor - AW3425DW - 34.2-inch WQHD (3440 x 1440) 0.03ms Display, 1800R Curve, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, VESA AdaptiveSync, DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 : Electronics) by a cable capable of 240hz (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQ9ZGRNY?th=1). I have Adrenaline installed and am on the latest drivers. I have played games that go to high refresh rates like Rocket League with no problems. I also tried changing to windows dynamic refresh rate but was the same. I have also tried setting a set vram at 32 gb vs variable vram, no change. Anyone with similar and any solutions? Thanks!
I had a similar issue with ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM | 27 to 31.5 Inches | Gaming Monitors|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global . It wasn’t related to Spotify, but I did have issues with the monitor going black. It turned out to be the ultra low motion blur setting. For some reason the APU dones’t like it. This screen works fine with that setting hooked to a RTX 4080.
TLDR; try disabling monitor settings 1 by 1 to see if any of them are causing the issue.
