I am using windows 11 framework 13 AMD laptop on various thunderbolt 3 docks (Dell/Lenovo/OWC) and they all exhibit the same issue. When the computer is connected to the dock in “clamshell mode” and is disconnected, on reconnect the AMD graphics driver will crash. I get the following system errors in event viewer.
A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices.
Display driver amduw23g stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
A monitor attached to your hub or dock could not be enumerated by the USB4 Connection Manager. This may be expected if the dock or system does not have sufficient resources or bandwidth to support the monitor. ReasonCode1:0x15 ReasonCode2:0xFD00000002 Status:{Operation Failed}
Can anyone help support this issue please.
