I own a Framework Laptop 16 and currently I’m running a dual boot with windows 11 and ubuntu v24.04.1.
As per tittle, sometimes it happens that when booting to ubuntu the touchpad doesn’t work at all even after re-seeding or changing position.
The only thing i figured solve momentarily the issue is to boot in windows 11 and then booting again in ubuntu (note that this sometimes must be done more than once too).
Now, it might just be a ubuntu problem since on windows it works flawlessly, does anybody now what may cause the issue i’m having?
While i’m at it, i don’t know if it’s related in any way but I installed gnome-tweaks to disable touchpad accelleration but every time i boot in ubuntu the accelleration is on even if the toggle switch is off, so I have to enable and disable it again to work.
(BTW i’m on the latest BIOS and the kernel i’m running is: Linux Framework-16 6.8.0-47-generic)
