I have the amd-7040 with 2x12gb ddr5 crucial ram. It’s giving me an alternating red-blue blinking and when I press the power button it doesn’t turn on. I’m using it in the cooler master case and have done the steps to try and get it into standalone mode. I only have the USB C expansion cards right now and using a twelvesouth hub and a wireless Logitech keyboard.
What speed is the DDR5 Ram? Also, try just using one stick in one of the slots and see if it boots that way.
The first time it boots it might take a few minutes (not more than 5) to train the memory.

Thank you, I did already put in a ticket and the speed is 5600 MHz. I can try with one stick in and see if it boots. I did also try to do the steps they said to try to get into bios
- Remove all the expansion cards.
- Remove the top cover of your Coolermaster case.
- Plug the power adapter directly from any of the expansion slots.
- Press the chassis open switch in the center of the main board 10 times, you must press it slowly, so press for 2 seconds. Release, and wait for the red blink on the motherboard LEDs. Press, etc.
Tired taking the ram in slot 1 out as well as the ssd. Same results, even moved the ram from slot 0 to slot 1 and nothing
What is the blink code you see?
It’s not giving any on the list. I was able to record what it’s giving.
Is there an official thing in the Support Knowledgebase for the “press Chassis Open button 10x with a 2-second on and off timing” thing from this thread? Is that what you did to reset it and get the ‘are you running in Standalone Mode’ screen?
So that didn’t work but I was able to hold down the SW3 switch while pressing the power button. Took a couple tries but was able to get the message to turn on standalone mode and get into bios
