I’m not sure if this is an issue with the Framework mic or Fedora, but I thought I’d post here to get some clarity. I’ve a had a variety of audio recording issues with my Framework 13 running Fedora KDE 42. I was initially experiencing issues similar to [SOLVED] Poor microphone quality while trying to record my voice, but lowering the gain helped a little bit here.
My audio got a little bit better when I enabled noise cancellation in Easy Effects, though people have still had issues hearing me on Google Meet
Moreover, I recently tried recording myself playing guitar on my Framework, and the audio was very noisy even with noise cancellation turned on.
Has anyone else had issues with buzzy audio on a Framework / Fedora, and if so how did you resolve it?
