Turn rgb keyboard backlighting on, but without animations?

How to control the Framework 16 rgb keyboard so that backlighting is turned on, but animations are off?

I’m aware of RGB keyboard configuration but I don’t see this ^^^ combination I’m after discussed.

I’ve tried to use the Via app in Chrome for software control but no matter how many times I try to authorise the keyboard nothing happens. (Os is Win11).

Go to keyboard.frame.work instead. Framework has a copy of Via there. The Framework keyboard defintions aren’t yet known to usevia.app. So you’d have to sideload the defintions in order to use that site.
