If you’re setting up fingerprint login after following this guide, you’ll probably hit the next annoying part: GDM unlocks fine but GNOME Keyring stays locked, since fprint can’t hand it your password. I wrote a small PAM module that fixes that using TPM sealing instead of a plaintext password, works on Ubuntu. Posted the details here:
