Usb c to multiport hub hdmi port not showing display to tv

I have bought a usb c to multiport hdmi hub all the other ports work but the hdmi port when I plug it to upper two usb c port to that hub and connect the hdmi port the tv shows no signal I am on ubuntu 24.10 with fw13 amd 7840u

I’ve tried a bunch of those things. Some work, some have issues. This one works for me: https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B0BXDQS4BD?ref_=pe_28126711_487767311_302_E_DDE_dt_1

Some didn’t do 1440p. Some only worked on only 1 HDMI port. (I’m using 2).

Probably not that helpful but maybe if some more people chime in we might found out what’s going on.

Update the issue is resolved and the hub works very well with the laptop

Can you explain how you fixed it so people having the same problem know how to fix it?
