I have a issue where the ethernet port on the the USB 3.0 (Aukey) always disconnect, i run the windows diagnostics and the only thing it tells me is to reset the connection which then works for a brief moment and then it disconnects. On the hub I have a monitor connected via HDMI and i never seem to be an issue with.
Also i use the same USB 3.0 hub on my mac for the ethernet and i never have an issue with it.
I notice that having a static IP & only having the IPV4 item checked in Ethernet Properties make the connection last way longer, but eventually it disconnects. The way to reconnect is to unplug the cable and plug it back in.
