Usbc thunderbolt compatible?

It’s my understanding that thunderbolt ports typically are designed for a laptop since those have standardized motherboard layouts due to the consistency in geometry.

Anyone know if the expansion cards are potentially thunderbolt compatible when used with the upcoming desktop? Or if there’s a way to make it possible?

My work laptop uses a thunderbolt dock, and easily swapping all of my screens and accessories when I work from home sounds handy.

Slim chance, I know, but I figured if any would work it’d be something modular like this one.

From what you can see in the configuration wizard when ordering a desktop, the front ports are not thunderbolt compatible.
The two rear ports are USB4 which can deliver display signals and thunderbolt iirc.
