Will the FW16 fit into the Linus Tech Tips backpack?

Just curious if the FW16 fits in the LTT backpack? Will it fit inside the laptop pocket or just in the main compartment?

Just tried my FW16 with GPU expansion.
it does go into the laptop sleeve, but it is basically the exact same size, so it is finicky to get into the pocket itself.
Without the GPU I imagine it’s easy

Though of course there could be some minor discrepancies between backpacks so it could potentially not fit of the backpacks are not exactly identical.

If you forego putting it in the dedicated pocket it will fit basically anywhere in the backpack just fine

Yeah, I agree with DraconicBovine. My FW16 with dGPU fits in the laptop sleeve, but it’s tight.

Will the gpu card fit in one of the lower pockets with the laptop in the top pocket? I’m just curious. It’s going to be mid October before I can get home to pickup my 16.

I put mine in the space between the laptop sleeves and the rear facing pockets. Fits fine that way and seems just as padded. It’s just too tight on mine to go into the laptop sleeve with the video expansion installed.

Note that although the LTT backpack technically shows dimensions that are slightly too small to fit a Framework Laptop 16 with Graphics Module installed, we’ve found that it fits snugly on the sample we have on hand. It’s possible that unit to unit variation on the bag could make that not guaranteed to work, but we are discussing this with the LTT team on adjustments for the future.
