I have an amd mainboard in a cooler master case as a mini pc. I am running windows 11 and every so often it seems windows if forgetting that I have Bluetooth. as in, when I go to Bluetooth setting I cannot even turn it on. I have attempted rebooting as well as a full shut down and start to no avail. it is my understanding that the bluetooth module is actually part of the wifi card so I expected the wifi to also be missing (I am hardwired all of the time so would not have otherwise noticed if it were out) however the wifi seems to be working fine.I tried disabling the wifi card in device manager and re enableing but this did not help, also windows suggests i have the latest drivers. is there a separate device I should be looking at in the device manager? I have been unable to find any solutions to this however in the past if randomly fixed itself for about a month before “getting lostr” again.
Have you installed the latest drivers and BIOS version?
Check the Framework KnowledgeBase from the support page to get the latest drivers and install them to see if it resolves your issue.
I just checked my bios is at 3.05 ( the latest version I can find, released 3/29/24) and i have the driver downloaded twice earlier this year( so I’m fairly certain I updated them back when they came out)… curiously my bluetooth did come back for about 3 minutes and then disappeared again since my last post.
I just had the same issue (again)… framwork 13 amd. Bluetooth totally disappeared. I’ve checked services, pilots (but the bluetooth card was missing), wifi was ok. I find your post since you replied to one of mine in the past.
And the bluetooth came back after a downgrade of pilots and reboot. But I’m absolutely not shure this is the reason.
Realy strange !
