Hello!
My Framework 13 12th Gen (i5-1240P, Bios 3.08, Win 11 Build 26100.4061) crashes about one or two minutes after boot with high spinning fans when I enable Windows Sandbox on my system.
This happens regardless of whether I am logged in or not and I do not even need to start the sandbox.
Looking at my taskmanager two processes, VmmemcmSysPrep and VmmemcmFirstBoot are out of control and are consuming an ever increasing amount of memory and lots of CPU power until the crash.
Uninstalling the feature resolves the issue, but that can’t be the solution.
I worked with the sandbox-feature back in 12/2024 without any problems on this device.
Looking around at Google several other people are also affected since around 02/2025, but I have not found any soolution?!
Any help or advice?
