Well i for do stay hopefull because i didn’t order RAM or storage and got the 7700s 2nd Gen.
So maybe i am lucky.
Lets all hope for the best that everyone gets their laptop before christmas.

Batch 4 order here. I’m chomping at the bit to get the email. Has anyone heard of anyone from batch 4 getting their email?
As far as I know batch 3 is still waiting on emails for payment so 4 is probably a bit of a wait still, I have no idea why they still say new pre-order batches are shipping in December 2025 it looks like batch 5 shipping in December is ambitious and batch 6 would take a Christmas miracle so idk how 7-9 are “expected” to ship this year.

Maybe there are more 7700s orders in batches 5 upwards, so they might have more stock of the older model
But i doubt that many people bought the AMD option
I wonder what batches have actually shipped, because Reddit update from Framework was Batch 1 & 2 got their prep emails on November 16th. Hopefully we (Batch 3/4) get prep and ship emails this week or next.

going to be running cachyos on it.
i was originally going to do 64 gb of ram but 96 was only $40 more for me based on the deals i found so… i got 96. i do gaming, VR stuff, and lots of blender and im excited to have all the power and a card that blender can utilize more (im currently on 32gb, a ryzen 5600, and an amd 6750 xt)
i spend a lot of time in two different houses and haven’t been bothering to move my desktop with me. it’ll be nice to have more power than my desktop in something i can also put in my backpack.

I’ve started a thread where we can track the shipment of batches as a community, since Framework hasn’t given us any new information. I don’t think anyone beyond batch 2 has received any notifications or been charged yet, but keep this in mind for when we start getting our notifications. (Hopefully soon!)

Ditto! Got mine as well for the DIY Kit (Thankfully i selected RAM Before the Prices started spiraling out of control hehe, Just Another thing to add to my Love/Hate Relationship Bucket with AI i suppose)
Hopefully it shouldnt take the full 18 days to get charged for the laptop 
(did sort of wish there was a pay now button because im likely not changing anything before the 12th)

What OS will you be putting on your FW 16 (out of curiosity)
I can’t decide between Fedora 43 and Bazzite 
Oh…. Im Mostly gonna be using Windows 11 on my FW16, And Maybe I can dual boot Bazzite/Ubuntu on my Framework (Im leaning towards Bazzite though, mostly because of Bringus lol)

He (and Wulffden) is how i discovered Bazzite too
But yeah with a 5070 i would use Windows too (and if i would play a lot of EAC games)
