Adobe CC running on Framework 16 without problems?

Hi, I’m new here. I think, I’m a rather experienced PC user since more than 40 years. About 15 years ago I changed from Apple to PC. Now I’m about to buy a new laptop (until now I had five Porsche Design Book one, which I really loved. But in between they are technically outdated and there is no successor. So I looked for another manufacturer and found framework with its extremely interesting concept, fantastic for an Apple-hater like me. I would really like the new Framework 16, but it’s only available with AMD processors. As a graphic designer and graphic design professor I am dependent from a running Adobe CC environment. So, before I buy, I would like to know wether there are any known issues with that? Please share your experience. I need running InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects …
Thanks and best regards

I know this is sort of a late reply, but just anecdotally I use Adobe CC (mostly InDesign for typesetting stuff, Illustrator, Photoshop, and occasionally Premiere Pro for very minor, beginner-level video editing). I haven’t had any problems at all! I got the FW16 with the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS and the AMD Radeon RX 7700S graphics module, and it will swap into that discrete graphics card pretty seamlessly if I jump into a program or game that requires a boost. I have my settings so it’s using the integrated graphics to extend battery life if I’m not doing much.

So, anyway, from someone who’s using Adobe CC on the lower end of the spectrum for very basic stuff, I’m very happy with my Framework! It might suit you as well

Thanks a lot, but - sorry - too late. Some weeks ago I bought a Lenovo book i9, a convertible with two high-resolution displays, and I’m very happy with this decision. I had some good reasons: My last laptop also was a convertible, a PORSCHE Design book one. And I loved this thing. For my lessons at the academy I could connect it to the digital blackboard by using the wireless HDMI soulution from Microsoft for just 40 €. So I could stay connected to the board while I helped my students with their laptops. This requires an Intel video card and it also works very well on my new Lenovo. Both came with a graphic pen which is very comfortable for me to do artwork. The display quality is outstanding. The keyboard on the lower display takes some getting used to, but for larger texts to edit I can use the bluetooth keyboard and mouse coming with it. So it really fits the best for my needs. And, of course, Adobe CC works fine with the latest updates - Intel CPUs never had a problem with it.

Thanks again and best regards
