Batch 2 is also saying “Ships in August” right now. So maybe Batch 1 is a little earlier? How far were the batches apart in the past?

A Reddit thread to follow the batches and deliveries has been opened at https://old.reddit.com/r/framework/comments/1ehp2ou/framework_q3_2024_preorder_and_marketplace_updates/

Both the FL16 and FL13 AMD were running at about a week between batch shipments, I would have thought this new FL13 Intel would be similar, maybe 10 days for the first couple if batches. But also don’t forget that batches overlap, and a batch will ship over 2-3 weeks.

Got my email yesterday - 4-20 days (odd range) until shipment

Liam_Ceh,

Thank you for the e-mail notification update. That means the Batch 2 e-mail should be coming at the end of this week or middle of next week!

FW16 (Bath 19; received)
FW13 Intel Core (Batch 2; waiting)

Got my email on the 17th of this month & it’s now the 28th, hopefully it’s not far off actually being charged to my card!

Call me pessimistic, but it seems like Batch 1 is delayed and thus, Batch 2 will not arrive in August any more (today is August 29th).

It would be great to hear an official statement from Framework to understand what’s the hold-up with the Intel Core Ultra Batches

Perhaps you received something similar, but given I am on Batch 3, saw this on reddit. I take it that it’s going to affect the rest of the batches until they catch up.

FWIW my Core Ultra 5 125H model arrived last Friday, August 23rd (shipped August 21st). So a potential delay might not affect all models.

I received a Core Ultra 5 125H board earlier this week. It shipped FedEx air from Taiwan to Seattle area. The board swap was easy using the provided guides. I reused my original SSD w/Win11 (bitlocker paused!) and the provided driver pack from Framework worked flawlessly to accommodate the new hardware. Smooth experience and trouble free thus far!

The old Intel I5 12th gen board is now a hand me down running in the Cooler Master case. It replaces an old Intel NUC 8th generation which will soon be repurposed with Linux as a learning lab.

Loving the reuse possibilities!

I’m certainly curious as to how much longer this will take, I still haven’t been charged on the card. I’ve gotten no emails indicative of any production issues either, something must be up!

Hey Batch 1 Intel Ultra Guild:

Any update on receiving a payment or shipping e-mail for your Batch 1 laptops? I’m in Batch 2 and we have only received our Prep e-mail so far.
