With today’s announcement of Chrome OS Flex, I decided to give it a try on my Framework. Unfortunately it doesn’t work… I just get a hard reset as soon as it boots to the welcome screen. I think this is likely because the 5.10 kernel the current Flex image uses isn’t playing nice with the Intel AX210 WiFi radio (this is right about where it would start polling WiFi networks for setup).
That’s not an issue for the Framework forum, though, I’ll put that feedback in with Google. The issue I noticed while doing this is that my BIOS/firmware screens behave very oddly. They just seem to ignore keyboard input randomly, or sometimes have a delayed reaction to keyboard input. This only happens in BIOS/firmware screens. I’m currently running Ubuntu Linux and have not seen anything like this on keyboard input.
Any ideas what this might be?
