Bluetooth mouse on Linux

I am running Fedora 43 on Framework 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040Series). I am pairing a ThinkPad Bluetooth mouse. When I move the mouse I just get continuous connect and disconnect messages with no movement. The mouse shows up as a “Thinkpad Bluetooth Laser Mouse”. It works fine with other Fedora 43 systems and Android phones. Nothing I have found online has helped so far. Help?

Have you tested the mouse using a Live distro and your FW13? Might be worth a try. Doing so will (somewhat) eliminate the possibility that your Fedora setup on Framework doesn’t have an inadvertent BT config that is hostile to your mouse.

That’s a good idea, I’ll give it a try.
