I am putting together a Cyber Deck out of a pelican case , and prior to purchasing any components I want to see if I can get the cables custom length. This will obviously need longer ones for the EDP screen cable, and the webcam if I use it. The antenna I should be able to route to the lid and they should be fine, but the pictures on the site are lacking, and I could use this information to see if this is even a possibility.

Part numbers of the connectors and their pinouts are on Framework’s github. For example, the webcam I believe is shown to be an 0.5mm pitch ffc connector. So you’d need a matching 0.5mm pitch ffc cable. With whatever number of pins they say.

I noticed, I take it there is no generation spec like with HDMI.

not generational. but electrical spec. most of these differential signal lines are specified at 90/100ohm impedance. connectors are also part of the spec.

It’s not expressly on the FW, but according to the FP7r2 for the 7040 edition of the mainboard, The eDP on the board is 1.4a (AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS Specs | TechPowerUp CPU Database). According to the official expansion port compatibility sheet three of the USB C ports are display capable. The FP7r2 supports HDMI 2.1, but since the HDMI board hasn’t given open source devs the secret sauce, everyone is stuck at HDMI 2.0 until that changes. There is one more possible connection for display in the chipset that says 1.4, so I think that the eDP on the board is 1.4 and the DP/HDMI out from the 3 USB ports are all DP/HDMI 2.0. 8 of those lanes that give an additional DP 1.4 is used up by the interposer connector in the back of the Mobo
