Crucial T700 SSD in Ryzen framework 13?

Hi there,
Can I use a Crucial T700 in my AMD framework 13?
I read that it can get really hot, should I get the heatsink version if it fits?
My 2TB Western Digital unfortunately had some problems yesterday and Windows did some kind of drive check when it booted up, also lost some data. As I need the laptop for work, I need to decide quickly what kind of replacement to order.
Before the framework, I always had Samsung EVOs, which never failed, but afaik it seems that the current generation is either slow compared to its competitors.
So what do you think of the Crucial T700? Benchmarks say it is one of the fastest.

The Crucial T700 is PCI Express 5.0 x4 but the AMD does not support that. You can save yourself some money by buying a PCI Express 4.0 x4 instead. I’m very happy with my SK hynix Platinum P41 1TB that costs half. It’s PCI Express 4.0 and does well in benchmarks and is energy efficient.

Also, this is what I found while Googling:

Do not get the heatsink versions. They will not fit in the laptop and most heatsinks cannot be removed without damaging the ssd.

Also most PCIe 5.0 SSDs currently on the market get very hot without a heatsink, so I would just save yourself some money and purchase a PCIe 4.0 SSD. The extra heat can shorten the lifespan of your SSD and you do not get any speed benefit because the slot is limited to PCIe 4.0 speeds.

Yeah, I agree with this as well. And as such, if you intend to benefit from the full speed of PCIe 5.0 SSD…it’s pretty much only for a desktop setup.

even more, AFAIK currently non-heatsink gen5 NVMe drives are sold only for the purpose of installing them on mobos that provide their own heatsink for m.2 slots (which is true for almost every contemporary desktop model and probably none laptop). From what I heard, without a heatsink these drives will fry within just a few hours of extensive workload.
