Did they reverse the RAM channels on the framework 13, AMD?

I’m assembling the framework laptop. However, I just noticed that my RAM slots are labelled reversed to what’s on my machine.

The instructions ( Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series) DIY Edition Quick Start Guide - Framework Guides ) show channel 0 to be on the right side, and the text says " If you are using one Memory module, place it in the right socket that is labelled “Channel 0." "

However, my machine (below) has channel 0 on the left and channel 1 on the right. Is it meant to be like this? Was there some change in the SKUs, or are the RAM channel stickers on mine just incorrectly applied?
(Does it even matter much if I put it in the wrong channel? My PC building experience would say no, but with these new fangled DDR5 ram or whatever, things could have changed.)

Update: for now I’ll just put my singular stick in the left slot and hope that my stickers are correct (and that it won’t affect performance), but yeah I would appreciate some clarification if possible.

Doesn’t really matter if you are using a single stick, you will “lose performance” in either way without a second stick.

Well duh, of course, one stick has less bandwidth than 2.

But I’m wondering if I would lose performance by sticking it in the one slot over the other.
Ie. if having only one stick in the “channel 1” slot is slower than having only only one stick in “channel 0” (or vice versa).
Because if the specific slot you stick the SODIMM in doesn’t matter, then why does that note/warning ( If you are using one Memory module, place it in the right socket that is labelled “Channel 0.") even exist in the first place?

So far my distro hasn’t complained, so I’ll just leave it be and I stuck it in the “correct” slot or whatever.

Same issue. Also curious here.
