Curious if Framework Laptop 12 will have a 40-pin eDP cable like Framework Laptop 16?
I’ve got Laptop 16 and am thinking if it’s feasible to get FL12 to pilot screen replacements for my 16 so that I don’t risk damaging my more expensive daily driver laptop…
It’s a smaller 30pin connector and cable for cost and size reasons.
Also on the laptop side?! So higher res or refresh-rates are completely off the table with the first gen mainboard? Or did you somehow squeeze 4 lanes onto a 30pin?
