The WD850x is a double sided SSD. The Samsung 990 Pro is single sided.
There doesn’t seem to be much difference between the dimensions though. 2.38 vs 2.3 respectively.
Not being able to see the pictures/diagrams, could I ask whether the drives are connected into a flexible ribbon/cable or connect into a fixed socket and how the 2280 drive’s thickness effects the possible thickness of the 2230 drive?
Does the 2280’s vertical position get determined by it’s floor or by the vertical position of it’s connector/central-line?
Do we know what the maximum thickness of a 2230 with either the WD or Samsung would be please?
