Hello,
I got a new Framework 13 with intel ultra 7. I assembled everything and it booted up. It then was unused for about 2 weeks. Today it was used again, suddenly it turned off. Now it is dead and wont turn on again.
Not even an LED blinking, just dead. Tested different Power plugs etc.
Just dead. I already contacted the support but got no answer yet.
What could it be? It is brand new!

When you say this, what do you mean? Did it boot normally into your OS? How long was it on and what was the battery level at before it died? Or did it die before getting into the OS?
More details would help people figure it out, as of right now its a lot of guesswork. What OS? Was it left sitting plugged in or not plugged in for those two weeks? Have you left it plugged in without moving it to another plug when it didn’t immediately light up an LED?
This may be a dumb question, but did you put something magnetic (headphones case, another computer, phone speaker) near the left side?
Does the side LED light up when it is plugged in?

It booted normally into the OS (Windows 11). It was on about 2 hours. I don’t know what the battery level was, as I wasn’t the one using it. The one using it, is not the kind of person that checks the battery level.
But while it was used, it was connected to a docking station and when I last used it almost 2 weeks ago it was charging normally.
In this 2 weeks it was NOT plugged in, but this shouldn’t be a problem as it worked normally for this 2 hours.
There was nothing magnetic besides the Laptop.
No LED lights up, not a single one.
It is just plain dead.
Sounds like a hardware failure to me.
It can happen, even on new items.
FW will probably replace the mainboard.
