Framework 13 Pro DIY screen staying completely black, even though I do get 12 Green Blinks and then some

Hi,

I just got position of my Framework 13 Pro AMD Ryzen AI 9 with 32 GB of RAM.

I put everything in, I have an ssd/nvme from my previous laptop that I am going to use, and plugged it in.

Plugged in the keyboard, did everything as the manual says.

I plug it in to power, press the power button it lights up, After a couple minutes i do get post lights on which were too fast for me to count but I got a video of them, here is my count of the summary, I will also post the video.

After this nothing ever happens, the fan keeps spinning and the computer gets warm, but nothing on display, the caps lock key doesn’t light up when pressed.

I tried removing my SSD, nothing, tried swapping ram, or removing either stick, still same state.

I sent a message to framework support but didn’t get a response yet, I know they are swamped and that is why I am here.

What RAM sticks are you using? May be incompatible RAM.

They are RAM sticks that were supplied by framework

Does it boot to the bios at all?

Also, this page has good info about the blink codes

No it doesn’t boot to anything, the screen is completely black.

Have you opened it up to make sure everything is connected properly and nothing has come loose?

Power down, disconnect from power supply, wait 10 minutes, open it up, disconnect battery, then check all ribbon cables, etc are properly seated and connected.
