I figured it out!
There was a ribbon cable on the keyboard that wasn’t fully installed. I realized it felt like the computer was just doing… nothing so decided to re-review all the ribbon cables. I had already checked the mainboard, but decided to look at the keyboard too since input didn’t feel like it was working. I had to pull the ribbon cable up to loosen the adhesive and then advance the adhesive a bit to get it fully in the connector.
